Starting an Affiliate AccountTo start an affiliate account you must register a regular Auctalot account.
Once you have registered a regular Auctalot account you can activate you affiliate account by navigating to:
My Account > Affiliate Account
You need to enter at least one Paypal account or one Paymate account to start an affiliate account. This will be the account to which your affiliate payments are made.
How to make CommissionsMaking money with your affiliate account is easy.
Simply follow the steps below
1. Create your affiliate account from your regular account controls
2. Create links to Auctalot with your Auctalot affiliate ID (which is your Auctalot username)
To create affiliate links to Auctalot simply append aid=YourUserName to the url
eg. http://www.auctalot.com/index.php?aid=Antique_Shop
or to add your affiliate link to a listing page
http://www.auctalot.com/index.php?c=item&itemid=6030043&aid=Antique_Shop
3. When a new user that you have referred registers as a seller you will earn US$2.50.
Auctalot provides a 30 day cookie to incoming affiliate links.
There is no minimum payment threshold, all affiliate payments will be made at the end of the month.
You can check your affiliate stats in real time by navigating to:
My Account > Affiliate Account
Note: You cannot earn registration commissions for users that you refer who use a 'free' coupon to sign up.
